Martyn, I don't want to be baptised again unless it is a requirement for Livingstones.
My early baptism is very special to me. My father was an Anglican minister, I was brought up as a Christian and it has been a journey since then. I knew it was important when I was little and and it has become more and more important the older I have got and as I approach 60 and my father gone it is good to relate back to those early days and think what a great thing came from those little beginnings. Hope you understand this,
Helena
Martyn, I am so pleased to see you are on here. Dave did such a good job setting it all up and the it seemed to fizzle out rather, lots of the youngsters being on Facebook I think.
I hope you will be able to keep us up to date with the church etc.
My daughter works for Carr Gomm, the homeless charity and she has told me that there is a need for shelter at night for a lot of the homeless in Eastbourne. She was asking about Community Wise but Dave thought it might not be a good idea with all the activities there, packing away beds and manning it could be a problem. Do you know of anywhere else?
God is helping me so much still and He is always there at Livingstones, with my own cancer hovering in the background and my husband now on chemo for a more virulent and more than likely fatal cancer. Please pray for just one touch from Him for Andrew, my husband.
Helena.
